You have so many awesome tools on your site... any chance you can turn some of these into phone apps??? They'd be a hell of a lot more useful then the current app (which attracts weird questions!)
Pregnancy ones that would be great are:
Kick Count Log (and contraction counter!)
Prenatal Checkup Questions (or any interview questions so we have it right in the office)
Parenting ones that would be great include:
Breastfeeding Log / Input/Output Tracker
...or something that works in these things like an itzbeen timer for your phone
I would very gladly pay to have some of these as apps!!! I'm sure others would as well!
Just a suggestion. ![]()
Re: To The Bump Gods (suggestion)
Bwhahahaha my itzbeen should be arriving today... I can't WAIT to use it

yeah I got one at my shower. I think it kicks ass, and I couldn't find a phone app that did all that... but I'd totally love to be able to store it all in one device! one less thing for the diaper bag!
The bumps tools are great... I want to make a binder with some of them to track stuff, but it would be great to just have an app that I always have access to rather then have to remember to record stuff on paper. (and I can NEVER find a pen!!!) I know some apps let you download stuff somehow...
There are 2 Bump Apps - one is Pregnancy 411 and the other is Baby 411 (I believe). There are a bunch of contraction timers on the iPhone - some are even free! An Itzbeen app would be freakin' awesome!
ETA: If you do a search for "baby timer" there are some pretty cool apps that pop up to track input/output/feeding/sleeping...
I have both the Bump 411 apps but they don't do much (other then let people post wicked stupid questions!) the content on them isn't nearly as good as The Bump itself.
I did look at the baby apps. I've even spent money on several but think they are a waste. I got a baby checklist (for needs) that I spent $1.99 on but it was just crap. Even The Bump's basic checklists were better. I just hate carrying them around in a store (yes, they are printed on a clipboard)... I think dads might be more likely to want to see the checklists if it was electronic (vs printed) as well... if it was a checklist with username and password for both parents to use, it would be awesome so that we can stay on the same page.
As soon as I showed my partner the checklist I printed from The Bumps tools, he came back with several items "not checked" an hour later. (of course she needs more than 2 pair of socks! but hey, socks were on the list so he got some of those! LOL)!
I'd just love an app with the quality of what is on the The Bumps website. a lot of apps I've tried just don't have much content.
and the bump is hard to access by phone (iPhone at least)...
I JUST ordered one!
