What does your phantom LO look like?

So who else has a theory or?vision?of what there LO will look like? ?Mine used to be that they would look exactly like our first. ?Now that #2 has a look all of his own, I have changed my theory.?

I now think that they will all have their own?distinct?look. ?#1 has sandy blond hair and light blue eyes. ?#2 has white blond hair and dark brown eyes. ?So, my theory is that #3 will have dark brown hair and blue eyes. ?

Well, we know that he/she will have blue eyes, since DH and I both do (slight chance for green, but unlikely.) We also think LO will have blond hair, at least as a child, because I'm blond and DH was blond until he was a teenager. There's a good chance that he/she will be tall, since I'm 6'!

First time around, we expected a 13 lb. monster with a hairy back.

Jack was 6lbs2oz. at 41 weeks gestation. Peanut, and not a hair to be found on his back. We are sure our real kid is out there somewhere. Big Smile

I have no expectations. I was a beautiful baby and my little sister was a troll. Roles are reversed now that we are adults!

I picture mine looking my DH- really big (DH was 10lb. 4 oz. at birth, now he's 6'4"), dark curly hair, hazel eyes, and a big, happy smile.

Daydreaming I kind of picture a little todler with blond hair and DH's hazel eyes. My dimple (I got it from my dad) too. Can't picture what DH's polish nose will look like on a child LOL.

I'm guessing ours will be dark hair, possibly curly, dark skin and small. DH and I were both around 5 or 6 lbs.

DH keeps hoping if we have a girl that she is ugly and hairy so she can stay at home with us as long as possible. Confused He's not going to do good once dating begins.

In my dreams the baby always looks just like DH. His features really stand out. He has thick eyebrows and I have thin ones so I am sure the baby will get his. I do want the baby to have my eyes and smile though. Here's to hoping I see what that kid will look like one day.

I was just sure dd would look just like me, red hair and brown eyes, but she has brownish/blond hair with slight red highlights and blue eyes. She looks a lot like my baby pictures, but is a complete hybrid of both of us. I have NO CLUE what to expect from the next! All the grandkids on my side, look like they came from the same parents! SCARY!

My guess is he/she may have red hair and blue eyes, red hair if we are lucky!

Patty, I was expecting something similar...11 lbs, but 7 lbs 12 oz.

Great question, Sassy. Had me thinking...

If you look at pics of me and MH when we were little, he looked just like Kevin Arnold from the The Wonder Years and I looked so much like Winnie Cooper for a stage in my life.

So I imagine a cross between those two. He or she will definitely have big brown/hazel eyes, long lashes, brown hair and olive skin.

I can't picture my phantom LO, is that weird? DH and I do not have similar features...I am tall with red hair and green eyes, he is average height with blond hair and blue eyes.

I always think of baby girls looking like me and boys looking like DH.

Phantom LO will def have dark hair, since we both do, and there are no natural blonds really on either side of the family. I have blue/green eyes and MH has bright green, so I am hoping LO has green eyes.

Me too. I was the "ugly baby" in our family. My brother was beautiful. I think our roles never switched, sadly, haha!

I don't know! I imagine they'll be small with a thick head of hair (I'm 5' and DH is 5'8" and we both have thick, dark hair.) But I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of combination we get. :-)

I picture a version of the Jon and Kate plus 8 kids. DH is Vietnamese and I am white, and I figure our kids will look a lot more like him than like me. They will be short and skinny, because he and I are both of those things.

I have no clue what our kids will look like! The traits on both sides are both pretty strong. His side, light blondish hair and green or blue eyes. My side, reddish brown to dark hair and blue or hazel eyes and all 4 of my mom's kids have her smile (I'd like to pass that on!). I'm hoping our daughter looks like me and our son looks like him!

I am a redhead and SO has really dark brown/black hair. We both have blue eyes of varying shades, so our LO's will definitely have those. We want 4 kids, and I imagine our boys having the dark hair, and girls I at least would want one with dark hair, and one with red, and both to have lips like mine

I really have no idea! I have auburn hair and hazel eyes - he has blonde hair and blue eyes - I am short and curvy, he is tall and lanky. All I hope is that our children get his metabolism! My mom had curly hair as a baby, so that would be really cute...I can't wait to meet the little baby someday. Oh, and DH has started referring to our phantom baby as "Bingo" - I kind of like it. Stick out tongue
