Teething Tablets ??

My baby girl is teething, one has already erupted and there are more on the way! She has become some miserable little baby I hardly recognize... I have been spoiled with a very sweet baby! A friend suggested these "homeopathic teething tablets" by  Hylands.

So my EFF what are your opinions about these? Any experience with them?

Re: Teething Tablets ??

  • We use both Hylands and Humphreys teething tablets and love them!  DS is now to the point where he'll bring me the bottle when he needs them.  I still think Motrin works a bit better for the really bad nights, but the teething tablets definitely help.

  • Both our kids beg for them when they are teething.  When DD was teething she would point to the bottle and ask for it when she was really hurting, and it often correlated with when her medicine had worn off. I found on the really bad days of DD cutting molars it helped bridge the motrin or tylenol to the next dose, so I didn't have to piggyback tylenol and motrin (I only do that if I really have to). Now I'm using them with DS, and he gets so excited when he sees me reaching for the bottle, and when it finally gets in his mouth gives me a look of relief.   For mild teething the tablets are all I have to use.

  • I posted about them a couple of weeks ago and got a resounding (sp?) "yes, they're awesome" from the board.

We've started them now and I can really tell the difference.  Baby is finally sleeping through the night again!

  • We loved them, but my BIL (a doctor) wasn't crazy about the ingredients...
