Ha! My dog just threw up- causing me to throw up. While I'm violently vomitting, I'm also leaking down below. No scent or anything.... I hope I just pee'd but it's making me wonder. I've put a liner on, to see if I leak anymore.
How often does it leak if the water breaks? I had my water broken last time so I'm not so sure...
Now I'm wondering if I should change from a dress to dark pants to hide any leakage
haha!
Re: trying to decide if I've pee'd myself or water broke

Me too. Everytime I would sit or lay down for a few minutes and get up, another gush came out.
this. the nurses were amazed b/c when we got to the hospital, instead of saying "ow" w/ every contraction, i was saying "ewwwww" b/c i couldn't stand the feeling of the gushes.
give yourself an hour and then call if you have more leaking...i was told once your water breaks you have 24 hrs to get the baby out so i wouldn't play around.
I thought this too, but Max took 42 hours from the time I initially thought my water broke until he came out, and about 35 hours from when the flood gates opened in triage. As long as baby is healthy and you don't have like GBS or anything, you should be able to let it go as long as you need to. If you still feel drippy go get checked by a dr.
That is exactly what happened to me on Dec. 23, before work. I assumed I peed, so I showered and changed and went to work. All day I had this sort of slow leak.
I mentioned it to my husband that night, about 12 hours later. He insisted we call the doctor on call, and he had us come in that night. Sure enough, I was admitted that night and Jack was born the next day.

Yup I had a 37 hour labor. My water broke at midnight on Thursday and he was born at 1:35 on Saturday. Normally they will want to section you within a certain time frame. But I was adamantly opposed to this so they let me labor and deliver vaginally and made sure that we were aware of the risk of infection. They did VERY minimal internals to minimize this risk.
When my water broke I felt a pop and then a trickle. Then I stood up and the flood gates opened. A lot of times the babies head "blocks" you up and prevents leaking but when you lay down you typically will leak since the head moves. Try laying down and see if you leak, then get up and see if there is a change. My amniotic fluid smelled sweet (TMI).
