back from vet

we had to go in for the dog's annual apt and get his kennel cough updated. ::sigh:: so then he threw up all over the floor, barely missed DD (by inches), the nice 8 months pregnant vet had to help me hold him while she gave him benadryl (shot). and we've been thru 4 meltdowns with DD already this morning.

did i mention i'm winging it today on my own since DH "forgot" to take the dog on Monday while i was out of town. and he's of course happily at work an hour away.

i need a drink... lol
