Babies: 3 - 6 Months

talk to me about your jumperoo..

So riddle me this

I'm looking at DS bounce bounce bouncing away in his jumperoo and I notice that he can stand in it with his feet flat on the ground

I borrowed it from my sister and I can't remember but I"m thinking she said that when his feet can sit flat on the ground to move him up a notch so that he's kind of a little lower than tippy toes

does this sound right or am I remembering incorrectly? What do you do with yours? tippy toes or flat feet?

(i'd call her but it's too early and i'd wake her baby)

The instructions that came in our jumperoo says their feet needs to be flat on the floor.  LO is still too little to reach the floor so we have have a box and a towel for her to stand on.

  • I remembered toes so I went and got my manual.

"Your child's toes should touch the floor (without bouncing). If your child's entire foot is touching the floor or the toes are not touching the floor at all, adjust the seat to any of the three positions".

IMO Feet should be flat because you want them to use their whole leg to move/jump, not just their ankles.

DD isn't quite tall enough so we have a textbook underneath so her feet are flat.
