I didn't start using it until he was over 6 months I think, but I use the badger anti-bug balm. Smells like citronella but I like it

Not sure how EF it is (I mostly lurk here) but my pedi gave me the go ahead to use California Baby bug repellant.

This. They have it in stock at most Target and Buy Buy Baby stores. I also recommend the stroller/ car seat netting to keep the bugs out of LO's face and eyes.

I used Jason's Quit Bugging Me! spray last year because I couldn't find CA Baby. That would have been my first preference. I bought it at BRU. My Target now carries CA Baby bug repellant.
