  • Say - hello, pregnancy bloat! It will be your constant companion until baby bloat turns into baby bump

  • I'm 7 weeks and feel the same way!  Use rubberbands for your pants.  loop them through the button hole and then around the button.  It makes life SO much more comfortable.  It's a quick fix for the time being, until of course it's time to buy bigger clothes!  A good friend of mine said she gained 12 pounds in the first 16 weeks, so hopefully we're considered normal in the pregnancy world!  =)  Enjoy the first trimester, I know I'm trying!
  • I'm only six weeks and my pants stopped fitting around week 4. My friend just had a baby, so she gave me all her pre-pregnancy pants since she's a little bigger than me.
  • I switched to maternity clothes by week 7.  They're so much more comfortable.
2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".

  • I have other issues (hyperstimulated); however, I had to go last night and buy 4 more pair of pants...stretchy kind...with no button or zipper.  I'm only 4 weeks...
  • I've had pants that felt snug on and off probably since around week 6.  The past couple of weeks it's gotten really bad.  My boobs won't fit into lots of my tops and dresses and my pants are no longer just uncomfortable but pretty much unwearable. : (

  • I totally feel your pain!  I already bought a BeBand at Target to go over my dressy work pants and jeans - ugh!  I am trying to find my less form fitted tops as well and wear those (esp at the office since no one knows yet) - however if I'm home you can guarantee I'm in leggings or comfy yoga pants! :)

  • I am kind of having this problem at approx 6 weeks, sometimes my clothes fit and sometimes they don't. DH & I went to upstate NY last weekend (about 6 hours from our house in PA) to help a friend move back home. When I got up there, I found out that all the jeans I brought with me didn't fit. Ended up that my friend gave me some of her maternity clothes but they are mostly too big right now as she is a couple sizes bigger than me. When we got home, I realized that it sort of depends on the day as to what I can wear. I have no problems with tops since I was too small for an A size bra before. Bought a pair of jeans a size bigger than usual and a couple pairs of yoga pants. I have had issues with the tired thing too, but so far no issues with food or morning sickness (knock on wood). I don't know if part of my problem is due to me being thin to begin with (I am 5'7" and around 110 usually) and so maybe I am noticing things expanding earlier? Anyway, when I was in NY, I went shopping. Target had some nice stuff, and the Kohl's store there was phasing out their maternity line. Everything was 60% off, so I bought a couple things. I don't want to buy too much though, in case I get a lot bigger and unable to fit into the stuff I got. Does anyone know any guidelines on that? Like up a size or 2? Thanks in advance if anybody lets me know.
