Travel potty

Is this the one you guys have?  I've waited to long and don't have time to order online so I'm hoping BRU has them in stock.  Target and Walmart didn't have anything.

Re: Travel potty

  • We don't have a travel potty, when we went to Disney, we just brought Ashley's potty from home, this is it (apologize for not being a clicky link)

It worked out great, we would just stop the car and she would use it (usually next to the car or in the back, we have a SUV) and then she used it the hotel room. We also had a potty seat that we used in the parks, but she was not too fond of it. Now she will use the big potty, but at the time, she was better at using her own little potty. We got it at TJ Maxx for around $16.

  • Thanks lah.  I went ahead and got the travel one, BRU did have it.  But how did you empty it?  The travel one has a bag with a pad that you dispose of after they go.  He uses the big potty just fine, so I figure at the hotel he can use this or that.  But I wanted something for on the beach, in the car, etc.  I am not looking forward to him using public toilets, so I'm hoping this will avoid some of that.

  • There is a cup thing that comes out of the potty that you can dump. This may be gross, but wherever we stopped for her to pee (fast food, convenience store), I just brought it in the bathroom and dumped it. I am sure that some people may have thought it was mine (since I was pretty pregnant at the time,ha!), but I did not care, I was just so proud Ashley made a 10+ hour car trip w/o any accidents :) I think you the one you got will work great (and will be much easier than carrying pee around!!)
