BFPB - how does this work?

I feel like I'm the new girl at school looking for friends. How does one find a BFPB? Do you just magically bond with someone and decide to do this? What does it entail exactly? Thanks for helping out!

People just sort of hit it off and I guess start communicating privately and one thing leads to another and viola BFPB. Although after the outing of LovesPie people might not be as willing to share private info.

I know what you mean about being the new kid looking for friends though

Apparently she was an AE of someone who said some really mean things to the ladies on the board.

We've all been there. Usually you just find something that you really click with. Someone that you get along with and become friends not only here on the bump, but personally as well. You exchange email and when you get comfortable enough, your phone numbers and addresses. I found two amazing women on here (my BFPB's) and we email each other on a daily basis. They're definitely ladies that will be apart of my life for a long time.

I wouldn't suggest "searching out" a BFPB, since we all know from recent activity that there are crazies on the board. Just wait it out, participate, and eventually you may find someone you really click with and want to exchange personal info with. It's not like a formal tryout process.

I've been here for a while and I still don't have a BFPB...but that's mostly because I'm hesitant to share personal info with anyone. I probably won't ever have a BFPB and I'm okay with that. I still form relationships with the women here just fine.

Also, despite not having a BFPB, I definitely don't feel like a loner looking for friends. That's just silly.

Thanks for the info! I agree with you about the sharing of personal info. I can't imagine exchanging phone numbers and addresses - just not for me personally. And don't worry, the "looking for friends" comment was tongue-in-cheek.

It went beyond just saying some mean things. She was many different AE's along the way. It was super creepy and definitely made a lot of us wary.

Yep. After that whole fiasco, I changed my photobucket account, even though no one wants to stalk me, I googled it and it had the real me attached to it. Opened my eyes to scary! lol

On another note, I, personally, would be hesitant of anyone who joined after LP left, whenever that was, who is looking hard to find a bud. TJM!

Some of the girls will post that they are in the chat and post the link for you to join! Just a fun way to get to know them! We have had some fun conversations in there!
