Recommend your nasal aspirator

I've purchased several nasal aspirators and none of them compare to the ones from the hospital.  As a matter of fact they berely even work.  Have you found a decent one?  Please tell me where.

  • You can buy ones just like the hospital. They are safety first brand, I believe its called hospitals choice. Just google it. I'm sure you can get it on amazon.

  • We've purchased several as well (my dogs keep chewing them), and most of them are lame.  However, i just wanted to share that when i told the ped that we were using it often due to DD's stuffiness, he said not to. He said that using an asipirator triggers the body to make more snot.  He said to just use the saline nose drops and put her on her tummy.  It actually seems to work pretty well - she rubs her face around on a towel and a lot of the loosened snot comes out.

  • The pedi said that the ones you buy at the store are basically useless and gave me one like we got from the hospital but the bulb was like twice the size.  It totally rocks.

The hydrasense aspirator rocks my world.  Couldn't live without it.  You control the suction with your mouth - it's AMAZING!

Like PP said, I find that saline drops and tummy time or "super baby" really work well too.  My little guy has allergies and we are constantly fighting a massively boogery nose
