How to clean changing pad?

How do you wash the fold-able changing pad that comes with most diaper bags?  I'm hoping to do more than spot clean it.

    I sprayed our's with a lysol type cleaner and then wiped it with a wet cloth. Then I rinsed it with a clean wet cloth and dried it.

    I surface clean with a Clorox wipe, then let it air dry.

    I don't know exactly what kind of bag you have but mine is Vera Bradley.  I put the pad in the wash with the rest of her clothes and used the Dreft on the delicate cycle.
