They make various absorbancies, so you might need another one to suit your flow. I do know what you mean though.... I have a very heavy flow and use post partum pads. Still super comfy compared to plastic! And isn't it awesome not to feel so sweaty and hear all that crinkling paper/plastic???
Welcome to the cloth pad world!
Have you tried Diva or other types of cups? Those might be next for you.
I use these for heavy times (which is most of the time) https://partypantspads.com/shop/flannelette/queen-pad and they have various fabric choices at different times, so if you don't like what they are now you can always check at another time to see what they have if you are interested.
You know, the Diva cup is very good for giving me more time between changes.... So If I can't be home messing with the pads every 45 minutes (no joke) then I use the Diva and I have never had to change that earlier than 3-4 hours, even on my really heavy days. I will admit I have had a few accidents with the diva (and they are really bad when they happen, which thank goodness is rare). My accidents were just because I couldn't get to a good place to empty it, or I lost track of time, etc. It was ME that failed, not the cup. If I have any doubts, I will use Diva with cloth pads for backup (like if we are traveling and I might not be able to get to a restroom at the right time, things like that).
I think due to my body size/shape and anatomy I might have some diva cup issues that a lot of women don't have. I have trouble reaching certain areas and I seem to need to be a contortionist to use it at times. I am considering getting the smaller cup but I don't want to spend the money because after we TTC (in less than a year, hopefully) I most likely won't be using the smaller one anyway. So I will probably just stick it out with my bigger cup (bought due to my age).
I got it from RCD boutique on HC. It is well made, I just am not used to how often to change when it is so heavy like this. It just takes time to adjust I think. I wouldn't care, except I'm visiting the ILs so any accidents can be embarrassing.
And the diva cup is not something I'll be trying anytime soon. I've always hated tampons because they are so uncomfortable for me and I can't see the diva being any different. My body just isn't made for it I think. I'll figure this out come h*ll or high water!

I have needs for both.
I assume they have the wings?

Wow, I got off on a tangent. Sorry!
