Remind me how to wash cds

I haven't washed them in forever and I just don't want to go on my memory alone.  I have a ton of old diapers from ds1 that I want to wash again and get ready for us to use. I also have a bunch of pfs and fitteds that are new- can I wash them all together? Do I need to wash the nb covers I just bought new too?

Why do I feel so lost suddenly?  I did cds for almost 2 years! I shouldn't be like this...

    My understanding (and what I did): 

    Wash used dipes in a hot load, just to get them nice and clean and ready to go. I'd put the new covers in this load as well since they don't have any natural oils to give off, and just need to get clean to use.

    New cotton and bamboo fitteds and PF's got washed several times on hot and dried. Separately from used/already prepped dipes.
