I am almost 15 weeks. We went to look at a store yesterday to get an idea and they said it will take about 12 weeks to get the furniture once ordered...
We shopped around a bit and made the decision around 18 weeks. We went ahead and ordered at 18 weeks because it was supposed to take 8 weeks to come in (they lied; it was there in 3 weeks). I would have waited another 3-5 weeks had I known it would be there early.
We'll order it sometime soon. We ordered Ethan's and they said 12-16 weeks and it was in in 1.5 weeks, lol. Hopefully we get lucky again.

the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.
My husband and FIL have a woodworking hobby and making a sleight style crib. However, I have been looking for a dresser/changing table combo to match. Went to a local store today and found what I liked and it just happened to be in their warehouse so we get it on Friday. Although, if we had to order it, I was told it would take 12 weeks. It is crazy. If I were purchasing all the nursery furniture, I would order around 20 weeks.
I ordered mine around 8 weeks. Yep really early but it was on sale and was a great price. Its sitting in my garage in the box right now (I bought a crib and a dresser).

My mother-in-law bought my furniture when I was 16 weeks... I had it all picked out by week ten. It all came in less than a week (Oeuf via Amazon). We'll start assembling it after I paint the nursery (on tap for this week).
I ordered mine at fourteen weeks. It arrived after only three days--but the dresser is damaged! Now we're waiting for customer service to get back to us with a solution. Although there's plenty of time to get another shipped, I'm glad I didn't put this off.
We ordered from BRU and it took less than a week for delivery. That was a month ago and its still in the box! I need to get bedding picked out so I can paint before we set it up!
We ordered our around 15 weeks from JcPenney's. If it's going to take 12 weeks then you should order it asap just incase something is damaged or you don't like the color, etc.

I'm about to order mine in another week or so. There is a limited time once you receive it to report any problems/defects w/it, so I wouldn't let it sit in the box unless you've already checked it out. (FYI and this is a major retailer, JCP, who only gives 5-10 day for refund/exchange after shipment, otherwise you have to go through manufacturers warranty).
We ordered the rocker/glider & crib this weekend at 14 weeks because BRU was having a really good sale. I wanted to wait a little longer but couldn't pass up the deals. We saved over $60 on the rocker/glider and over $120 on the crib. Our crib is in stock and the glider will be in in 7-14 days.
We ordered ours at 15 weeks because it will take 12 weeks to get in. Just orderd the glider last week, and it will take 6.
It really depends on where you're ordering from and what brand it is. From what I've heard, most BRU stuff is in fairly quickly, same for Target/Walmart/JCP. If you're going with a higher end line, they take longer.

I ordered ours at 17 weeks. It took 4 weeks to come in and now its upstairs in our nursery!! It was just delivered 3 days ago.
I won't order mine until I know the sex of the baby (which is at 20 weeks).
