i got a smelly thing to use during labor...

...that's supposed to smell like the beach.  only now for some reason it just smells like bug spray to me!!!  :-(  i'm so sad!  i was looking forward to using something to staunch the 'medical smell' of the place!!

    my doula brought some sort of EO dispenser thing. I got to smell jasmine (my choice) the whole time =D lol and the hospital staff loved it too.

    We brought smell-good things, but I was too in my own world to want/need them or even notice they weren't there.  It's incredible how different everyone's labor is!

    I brought oils both times and didn't use them until after the babies were born. Opps.

    My midwife kept spraying lavender on a tissue for me, that I kept tucked in the strap of my nursing sleep bra. It was heavenly and so relaxing. I had brought massage oil, but totally forgot about it. Her thinking of the lavender... best idea ever!
