Castor oil DID NOT work:(

After having contractions that steadily increased in pain and frequency over 4 hours we finally packed up the car, dropped Anna off at her cousin's and headed into the hospital when CX were 1 minute in length and 3-4 minutes apart. They were totally painful but bearable, which should have told me something, but with the frequency we thought we should head in. When they checked me I was totally having CXs and I had dilated to 3 cm (from 0). They told me to walk the halls to get to 4 since that's when they admit and to come back in an hour.

An hour later, they rechecked and I had made no progress. We were sent home at 2am. Somewhere in the night (more like around 5 am) they stopped:(

Soo.....all that work and nada. I'm glad that my body DID progress but come on, seriously!?

Keep you guys posted as to when the show REALLY get's on the road. I've got my fingers crossed it will start again today but I've got anxiety that it won't happen on it's own now.

Progress is progress, though! I'm glad your body is starting things on its own. I wish mine had done that!

I know how you're feeling. I had contractions all day only to get sent home to wait. You are making progress though. Fingers crossed that baby girl decides that May 14 is her day!!

How frustrating! I still think you're going to go on your own. Three cm of progress in one night is great! I vote you try the Donna dance party today. Gettin' low seemed to work miracles for her and I know you've got it in you.

Also, if she doesn't come on her own and you have to have have the induction, starting it at 3cm will make it a lot easier. The induction would probably be enough to kickstart your labor and you'd be able to finish laboring on your own. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
