We've been using an eco-friendly, veggie glycerin based detergent (from Costco actually) for a while. I've look at the detergents some bumpies talk about Dreck (?) or something and All and frankly, mine seems more gentle and eco-friendly than those chemical ridden ones.
What do you eco-conscious mamas use?
Re: What kind of detergent do you use?
I'm using 7th gen HE baby for dipes & baby clothes (and really like it), and Nellie's for everything else because it didn't work for our CDs but it gets everything else clean, and I have like 100 loads to go before it's used up.
I'm actually interested in switching to the EF Costco brand for everything. I really like their EF dish soap.
I also like Method detergents but they're ridiculously expensive so I splurge on their plant based fabric softener and get my yummy method scent fix that way (and I only use a teensy bit).
Are you thinking of Dreft? It's the "standard" baby detergent and is VERY heavily perfumed and god knows who thought it was a good idea to pack a BABY product with so many chemicals.
YES! This exactly! I wouldn't even use that stuff for my clothes.
