Baby Acne?

Is there anything I can do to help clear it up?  It's all over both his cheeks and red, because he won't leave it alone.  Even when swaddled, the kid will bust out an arm and rub it across his face.  It just looks so painful :(.

    We were told to leave it alone, that messing with it would only make it worse. It does go away...hang in there!

    We were also told to leave it alone.  We gave her regular baths but didn't use any products as we didn't want to irritate it further.  It isn't coming from the outside - it is the hormones from the birthmother rushing out of his little body.  It will settle down.
