Eco-Friendly Family

Pampers Diaper Propaganda /vent

Okay, FIRST we are indaunted in the stores and on the web about their "new Dry-Max diapers".  Then, the school age parenting magazine I get has THREE ads for the "dry-max diapers" in it.  Today, I got a "special edition" package with a free sample diaper (that stinks terribly) and a 16 page mini-magazine on how Eco Friendly the new Pampers are.

Included in the newletter is how many pounds of trash moms will not be producing if they use these diapers.  They mention how the newsletter is printed on recycled paper at least twice, but nevermind that the damnn thing itself cannot be recycled.

They also include 6 coupons, 2 of which are exclusively for Target (Boo on you Target, Boo on you).

Looking at the diaper, I can see why babies & toddlers are getting chemical burns.  Geeesh.

I hope so too but you know most won't.  People are like sheep...tell them where to go and they will.  "Oh, this diaper is smaller AND more absorbant...OMG"

    It's disgusting.

i'm glad they are finally looking into the dry max diapers.  hopefully the next wave of information we hear about them is that they are being pulled off the shelf.

Where are they looking into them?  Link?
