If you sleep with LO in your bed, or I guess anywhere in your room, when do you put them to down for the night?
We have a co-sleeper that we are using for now and since we aren't really on any "real" schedule yet we just take her into bed with us when we go. She still falls asleep around 7:30 or 8:00 ( its different every night) but we just have her out in the living room with us. Then when she wakes up (or we are ready to go into bed around 10:00) we change her and feed, if needed, and all head to bed.
What do you do?
Re: Co-sleeping and bedtime ?
That's what we did for a few weeks with DS (and with DD when she was little). However, it's apparent that DS gets better rest in his bed rather than in the living room, so I put him in his crib for a few hours of sleep between 7:30 and 8 pm (when I put DD to bed) and then get him up for one last feeding around 10:30 before I go to bed. . . and then he goes in his co-sleeper for now (Grandma is using the guest room/nursery).
We started a bedtime routine about 2 weeks ago and at around 8:30 he gets a bath from his daddy and then I nurse him and depending on how long he nurses for he is done by 9:30 - 10. We then all go lay down together (we bed share). If it's the weekend we keep him asleep laying on one of us in the living room or in his FP rock and play sleeper till we go to bed then we go lay down.
We have noticed after having his bedtime routine he usually is ready for his bath and night time nursing around the same time everyday so I think it's good for him.
love your new siggy pic
This is what we do too. Except, we put her to sleep in her crib while we are still up. When DD wakes up I bring her into bed with us for the remainder of the night. Usually, I just go into the guest room with her so daddy can get some good rest. He's the one who has to go to work.
Thanks it was on mothers day! Your puppy and Lo are so cute!
