Carrot Question...

How much do you give LO?  DS loves carrot puree and would eat more than the one oz. I am giving him but I am afraid that he will OD on carotene (and possibly turn orange....once this happens it can take a month for it to clear up).

    I am not positive but I heard you have to give them a lot and constantly not just like giving LO 2 oz of carrot and next thing you know they are orange.

    Yes, it has to be a constent every day thing for him to turn orange. I would also think that it would have to be in larger amounts every day to make a diference. So let LO have some more carrots, they are super good for him!

    MIL said that happened to my SIL and she started turning orange.
