Babies / Dogs / Students, nbr sorta :)

DH and I had a tricky time coming up with names for LO since we were team green, and we BOTH teach... looking back and knowing now what other families have named their LO's makes me kinda chuckle when I think oh yeah I had a student named "so-and-so" a few years ago, s/he was such a funny kid / weirdo / etc.  Or the friends who have have given their LO's names that I only associate with dog names, this one I find funny, hehe Stick out tongue

    I am also a teacher and have this same problem.  THere are certain names that I wouldn't even consider because I've had/known a student with that name.

    We had enough of a problem with just me being a teacher, can't imagine having 2 teachers worth of students to eliminate. We ultimately went with a name I'd never heard before (Cyro, pronounced like Cairo) and probably never will again. The next one might be harder since we used up our ace in the hole (well, the next boy will be harder, we have a girl name picked out as well).
