Chinese Gender Calendar..what do you think, accurate??

Hello ladies I have recently been looking at the chinese gender calendar because my sister is pregnant and we were having fun trying to guess the gender of the baby.

What do you ladies think, how accurate do you think it is(obviously we all know the men decide the sex, but just for fun), or have you had any stories with it?

One of my friends knows about 10 people that have had babies and about 7 of them were correct by the calendar...lol pretty good...

I don't really buy into those. After all, there's a 50% chance...hard to determine if it's correct or not.

I think it's as accurate as flipping a coin. 50/50.

Still fun to look at, but I put no stock in anything other than an ultrasound.

It didn't work for me. It said boy and I had a girl. All of the old wive's tales were wrong too.

Didn't work for me, DS is all boy and the calendar said a girl was coming.

My hairdresser swears she choose the gender of each of her kids this way.

Well, according to the chinese gender chart I will have a girl if I got pg this cycle. According to Shettles method I should have a boy. We'll see, lol!

This worked for my DD, but I can it can be inaccurate for boys. You look at a 12 week ultrasound. (Sorry I can't get it clicky)

Yes there are several different versions out there. ?I am sure if you were so?inclined, you could find a version to fit your pregnancy. ?The bump version was wrong for both of my LOs.

Plus, do you really think that if this chart had mystical powers that were correct the chinese would be having such a problem with adoption/abortion of their own children??

Not sure since all the calendars give mixed answers. Have you tried the needle trick? I've used it on friends/coworkers (7) and it has been 100% accurate everytime.
