moving today...

ahhhh.. it's gonna be a long day!

and I feel completely useless! I even got small beer boxes from the bar I used to work at so that I could be able to lift and move them (since they wouldn't hold that much anyway) but I can't even move one from upstairs to down without getting completely winded!!!

anybody else this crazy and moving this late in the game?

    Yes - we moved last weekend - into temporary housing.  Our old house sold (thankfully!), but our new house isn't ready yet.  So we're renting a townhome.  It's very frustrating not being able to help & everyone yelling at you to "put that box down" when you do try to do something.  But it WILL get done!  We're still unpacking, but we've got all of the baby stuff out.  Now to get it washed and put away...

     We'll be moving again in June, but I figure I won't care as much about helping because I'll be taking care of my new baby boy! :)

    oh goodness, and you're a good month ahead of me! wow.. -- We had originally planned to be moved back in the middle of march, but as you can see, that definitely did NOT happen.. hahaha.. I can't imagine being in your shoes! it's crazy enough doing it this late for me! yikesss

    Moving is 2 weeks. The day I turn 35 weeks! I have plenty of people lined up to help though so I won't reeeally be doing that much moving lol I'll be inside the new place nesting like crazy!! I vow I will have it all unpacked the day I move! *crossing fingers* lol

    We're moving a week after my due date. So either I'll be overdue and super uncomfortable, or I'll have a 1-2 week old baby. Either way, not the best timing, but we got a great deal on the house, so we're making it work!

    We closed on our house last Wednesday and started moving then.  My DH is finishing up at the old house now.  (Cleaning and stuff)  I felt really useless.  I have only been able to unpack about 4-5 boxes at a time and then have to sit down and put my feet up.  Today I'm so swollen and retaining so much water.  It's been a miserable move and I feel so guilty that I can't help more.

    Yep - It is crazy and NOT the way I would've planned it, but I just had to make up my mind that the perfect nursery would have to wait until after we had a baby. 

    We've got the necessities here...really helps me keep things in perspective and not go crazy with decorating or buying stuff that I don't need. 

    Good luck moving - don't overdo it!  (can I just tell you how many times I've heard that???)

    We are moving cross country in a week.  I am flying with my 17 month old and leaving all the loading to my husband and my parents.  We will be moving temporarily with family until we can find a place so who knows we may be moving again before this baby comes!!
