Need a classic but not too popular boy's name
For girls' names, we like Erin, Sarah, Jane, or Megan.
For boys' names, we like Alexander but it's too popular for me now at #4. I also like Eric, but DH is not crazy about it. Any suggestions for names similar to these?
Our last name is Walter.

I vote for Charles for obvious reasons! I only know of a couple of little boys with that name and we always get a great reaction when we introduce him to someone new.

Thanks everyone! These are good suggestions. It's funny that some people suggested my husband's name and my dad's name and his dad's name. I like all of the names suggested -- I guess I'm just waiting for something to strike me as being perfect.
DS is Philip, we're naming baby #2 Andrew, and I also really like the name Stephen. I think these all fit the bill, even though Andrew is in the top 20. We don't personally know any Andrews of any age.
Also, my BIL's name is Gregory (nn Greg) which I think is a great classic, rarely used choice.
