As if Sunday won't be bad enough....

DH just begged me to go to breakfast with his mother.  For just a little background, she and I do NOT get along AT ALL.  And that is putting it VERY NICELY.  I gave in, b/c I feel bad for DH (for having such a sucky mother....)

Great.  Lovely.  I'm going to have to convince him to at least go to a place that serves mimosas....Angry

    I have made it quite clear to DH I am staying in bed on Sunday...my whole family is out of state and I can't bear to be around anyone either...Gl I hope you get your mimosas!

    You should do what we are doing. We are taking a road trip, leaving tomorrow morning, traveling 3 states away, spending 2 nights, then driving home by Sunday night, so we get to miss the whole thing!

    Oh, I wish!  DH has to work tomorrow and Saturday.  He has Sunday and Monday off, but of course, I have to work on Monday.  All I really want to do is lay in bed with covers over my head.  Crying

    :(  I'm sorry.  I think that will require lots of mimosas!  Unfortunately, I am fearing church and I don't think they will be serving them there!!

    Ugh-I'm sorry.  I have made it abundantly clear to the fam, Sunday is just Sunday to me, no holidays around here.

    Bugger, that totally sucks.  Is he coming with you?  You could just totally pay attention to your food and pretend like she's not there.  Just get through it.  I don't get along with my IL's anymore after the way they acted while I was in the hospital losing my babies.  They were selfish and dramatic and I'm done with them.  DH is going to visit them for her birthday and retirement next weekend - DARN, I can't go!!  I'm shooting myself in the stomach every night and have to get monitored every other day!  Shoot :(
