If you get O pain before O'ing...

How long before you O, usually? 

BabyFruit Ticker TTC #2 since March 2010. 2 LOSSES ... c/p - Dec 2010. Ectopic - March 2011. Me: 35; DH: 34 DX: DOR, egg quality issues ; DH - all normal FSH 10.1, Estradiol 21.8, AMH 0.49 IVF #1 (Oct/Nov 2011) (Antagonist with BCP's)- 5R, 0 eggs to transfer CD3 b/w by same RE 1/2012: FSH 6, AMH 1.4...wtf?? IVF #2 (Apr 2012) EPP/Antagonist with ICSI - 10R, 7M, 6 ICSI'd, 2F. 3DT = BFN AMH tested by new RE 6/2012 - 2! Saving money for IVF #3. Started a ton of supplements in May 2012 and hoping for a miracle! SURPRISE BFP!! (October 2012)

    I don't know, isn't the pain a sign that you are ovulating?  I would guess that if you feel the pain it is either happening then, or about to happen.  When I feel it, it usually lasts maybe an hour.

    I sometimes get it one or two days before.

    I too can get it one to two days before O.  When I was younger and not charting I thought that it was the actual event of ovulation but with charting I know that it just means I'm gearing up to O.  I had them like crazy last night (FF I'm sure will move CH later in the week) but my temp didn't go up this morning.  I'm sure it will tomorrow though because that is the pattern.

    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)

    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt
    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy
    JUNE 2014 IVF#2;  5R, 2M, 1F Three day transfer 6/7.  Beta 6/18 - BFN

    I typically feel O pain on the day that I O (confirmed with OPK)  Mine also usually lasts about an hour.  Now that I am TTC I also tend to feel some very faint, minor O pain starting two days before.  This is very different from what I feel on the day that I O.

     

    TTC #1 Since 4/2010, Cycle 30
    Positive for HLA-B27, I'm a mutant :p
    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm

    TTC#2 since 12/17/2014, Cycle 8
    Repeat Testing...FSH=12, AMH=3.8, AFC=28. 
    IUI#5 5/10/15- c/p?
    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    Get some pains in my lower back and get bloat about 2 days before. I never even knew it was possible to bloat before/during O until i started ttc i thought it was just an AF thing. The things we learn..

    I usually get O pain for about 2 days. It is pretty crampy and uncomfortable! After that, during my LP, that side is sore, like it was punched by something. Yikes! No fun, but glad to know my body is doing SOMETHING!

    I feel like the outlier of the people that responded! I felt pain (O or not) a week before O and I'm still feeling it...on both sides...

    I get it a couple of days before, or even the same day. I never botced until we started TTC.
