are you crampy/sore after internals?

They never bothered me with Brady, but I had one today with my Strep test, and now I am super uncomfortable! At least I am starting to dilate...makes it all worth while.

The first one I was. Nothing big though. And I wasn't dialated. The 2nd one, I had no cramping or soreness at all. My third on is in a couple of hours, so we'll see. Hopefully I make some progress!

Yep, I had one yesterday and I was sore for the rest of the day. It didn't hurt much during the actual internal, but afterwards I definitely felt some soreness.

ETA: This was the first one where I did feel sore and had some light spotting (also the first one where I'd dilated). I've had 2 prior to this one where I didn't feel any soreness or have spotting afterwards.

I have not been sore or crampy, my midwife is really gentle. But I did have a tiny bit of spotting after.

I had some mild cramping and BH after my internals at 36w and 37w, but felt fine at 38w and 39w. However, I had some spotting and dislodging of the MP after my 39w. Didn't experience any spotting after any other internal except the 39w one. At 39w is when I found out I was dilated 1 cm. I was completely closed up before then.

My 1st one I was crampy the rest of the day, and had some brownish discharge. Have had 2 since and have been crampy for a couple mins, then it goes away.

Had my 1st one yesterday. It wasn't bad at all only felt soreness for the rest of yesterday.

I had my third internal yesterday, found out I was 2cm dilated. At my first internal, I was 1cm dilated. Each time I had no spotting afterwards, but did feel some very mild cramping that lasted throughout the night.

Had one this past Monday and that night and the next day, had major cramps! Like Aunt Flo on steroids it hurt so bad. I did not have any cramping with the first two, just this past one.
