WWTTCAL do (sore throat)

So I called my doctor's office but they don't have any appointments available. I'm not sure whether I should just wait this out and see if it goes away or if I should go spend a couple hours at urgent care after work. Of course I'd rather not hang out there, it's not my idea of a fun time and I have errands to run. Initially I thought this was just allergies, but I noticed a couple of white spots on one of my tonsils. I get strep pretty often so I'm a little nervous that this could be more than allergies.

What do you think???

    Check your throat again after work.  If there are more white spots, go to urgent care.  If there isn't, then I'd wait until tomorrow and see how your going.  Do you have a fever?

    Nope, no fever. Other than the sore throat I feel fine, just a little tired.

    If it were me I would probably wait a day or two to see if it gets better. I hope you feel better soon!

    Well, I was going to say that I would wait and see if it goes away but reading the part about white spots and getting strep so often I would probably go to the dr. Can they get you in tomorrow or friday? I don't usually go to an urgent care place unless it is after hours/weekend and I have to be pretty sick. GL and I hope you feel better soon!

    If it were me and I thought that it might be strep i would be going to see a doctor today but I something that is in the same family as rheumatic fever and it was awful!!!

    My doctor will be out of town tomorrow, and I didn't think to ask when he'd be back. I think I'm going to suck it up and go to urgent care this afternoon. Hopefully the wait won't be too long. Tongue Tied

    Can you leave work to go to the urgent care?  That would be my first choice.  I will do just about anything to leave work early.  I hope you feel better hon!
