False Negative Ovulation?

I am on clomid and I have taken ovulation tests for 9 straight days now and I don't see an LH Surge. Yesterdays was darker than todays but not darker than the test line! I am not sure if this means I didn't ovulate at all, or if the test just didn't show it as strongly as the directions said so. Is it possible that I ovulated and the test just didn't show it accurately or maybe I did ovulate and the test didn't pick it up. I know the test works off of the LH in the urine, and I used my mornings first potty break to take the test. (sorry if tmi)  So, with that said, I am just wondering if anyone has experienced mixed signals from an ovulation predictor kit? Thanks ladies!

    I used a digital one and i was on clomid. it didnt tell me when i ovulated either, but I got pregnant with DD that cycle. Just try and not focus on the test so much...

    Are you temping and doing other fertility sign tracking? When I was TTC I read that you have to take the ovulation tests several times a day because your surge might show up in the morning but not in the evening.

    thanks for the replys ladies. I read online that with me taking Clomid, I may get false negative results. Next month I think i'll just buy more tests, and take it several times a day. We weren't sure if the surge would show so we made sure to have sex everyday. I don't do my temp charting bc ..well...I"m just lazy. I have the thermometer but bc my cycle is irregular without the help of Provera, it just doesn't come out correctly. I go to the doc Monday for blood work to check and make sure my progesterone levels are high enough, and then I can start testing to see if we were able to conceive. Thanks for the advise, I def feel better now. :)
