I think my water just broke??!?

I was just about to go to bed and once I got in the room (after going pee) it felt like I peed myself again..Sat on toilet little gush..nothing..got up..little gush.. smells like nothing..still slowly leaking..

Freaking out..what happens next?!?! No pains or contractions yet..Mom says to wait it out..I have an ob appt at 11:15..dont think I want to wait...

help?

I would wait until your appointment, unless you start contracting every 5 minutes. They'll be able to check you in the morning. GL!

Do you have any pads? Put one on and see if you soak through it. You could call in but they will likely tell you to call when things start picking up. Either way, you should get checked tomorrow if things don't start to make sure it was your water. Good luck!

Call your Ob's emergency line. They will want you to go to the hospital. At least mine did...Good luck!

I would call your OB's 24 hour line since you are only 36 weeks.

Well I have been sitting on a towel I'll put a pad on and see just ruined a pair of pants and stuff.. Trying to wait.. Trying to get my bag together now too..ugh wasnt expecting this!

I would definitely call, they may tell you to wait it out for your appointment tomorrow or they may want you to come in for monitoring.

if you can't get a hold of your ob, then call labor and delivery and tell them. they will tell you to come in or to stay home. They had me go in after my contractions started for a nst, but then sent me home until my contractions were so bad i could not talk through them (that was 20 hours later), but my water had not broken yet.?

Well, since you have an appointment anyway, I would just wait for that. There's no point in going to the hospital of you're not even contracting.

I would call. My coworker's water broke at work and she was 36 weeks. She couldn't get ahold of the dr, so she called L&D and they told her to come in just to make sure she wasn't in labor. Sure enough she got to the hospital and was in labor and had her baby 4 hours later.
