My LO is pretty good with sleeping at night, he usually goes 4-5 hours the first stretch (waking around 2am to eat), and then goes between 3-4 hours the second stretch. We FF, and we prep the bottles before we go to bed so we don't have to go down to the kitchen in the middle of the night. He eats 4 oz consistently, although we just started thinking maybe we should be trying to feed him more during the longest night stretch. He typically eats every 3 hours, so if he's going 5 hours or more at night without eating, it would make sense that he'd want more. I know we could just try to feed him more and see how that goes, but he's kind of one of those kids that will always take more (and then spit up later). So, for those that have LO's that go longer at night than they feed during the day, do you feed more when they eventually wake up and eat? For any babies who STTN, do you feed more in the morning than you typically feed during the day? Or do you feed more at the last feeding of the night, to keep them full longer?
Thanks!
