Is it weird that my temp still hasn't dropped?

Only my 2nd month charting so I am still pretty new, but my understanding from TCOYF was that my temp should drop before AF. But my temp is still above the coverline for last cycle (I'm currently on CD 6). AF was also super light last time (only 1 day of very light flow, otherwise just spotting) - any cause for concern there?

    My temp usually drops after AF starts.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    From what I understand, temps will vary... and it could be completely normal for your temps to stay up during AF.  I got this from FF:

    "It is not unusual for temperatures to fluctuate, or even be in the high range, during your period as hormones return to pre-ovulation levels. Usually they do not take too long to level out. You should still be able to see your ovulation pattern when it happens."

    Are the open circles because you took your temp later and/or were sleep deprived?

    Have you tested?

    It looks like it did drop a couple of days ago,but then went back up with 2 open circles.  Sleep deprived or temping at a different time could affect your temps.

    And not everyone has a temp drop before their period.  It can vary for everyone.

    Your chart seems very weird to me.  A 6 day LP with only a light period and spotting, and still high temps?  Have you tested?

    Everyone is different. There is no right or wrong way - it is just the pattern that it creates that matters. My temps start declining 2 days before my period.

    this is what I was thinking-It is not unheard of to spot at the very beginning of pregnancy.  Take a test girl!

    Yesterday I took my temp 40 min later than normal, today it was 40 min earlier than normal. So I know the open circles don't help with the pattern...

     

    I haven't tested because a) I thought I got AF and b) I think it would still be too early, right? I would still only be 12 DPO even if what I thought was AF really wasn't. 

     

    I was thinking of testing this weekend if my temps are still high.

    OMG your willpower is amazing.  If I had this many people just asking if I had tested yet I would have run to the drug store immediately to get one so I could POAS!!  LOL  =]  Good luck to you!

    I don't want to get your hopes up, but this is what happened to me when I got pregnant for DD. I spotted the week before my period was due and thought it was the beginning of AF. and as fast as it came, it was gone. GL!

    I think I would test now if I were you.  If you are pregnant, you might want to get checked out to make sure everything is okay...that's a lot of bleeding/spotting.  Good luck :)

    It's hard to say.  If it were me, I would probably test again in a couple days if my temp was still up.  Good luck!

    Have you recently gone off BCP?  I'm just starting cycle 3, and I had 2 days of AF and have been spotting since.  (My friend is a pee-pusher so I have taken tests to rule out being KU)

    If not, I would probably run to the nearest $ store and test with FMU!
