Dr. Castillo - OB/GYN

Hi ladies, I'm new to the bump.  My name is Haydee and I'm about two weeks away from getting married.  We are going to start TTC right away. 

I wanted to ask if anyone had used or was using Dr. Castillo at NW Women's Center as their OB/GYN?  What is her bedside manner?  Does she take time with you and listen?

I'm having to switch over because my old ob/gyn retired about a month ago.  I was with her for about 10 years so now I'm a little bit nervous about having to go see someone new.

    Dr Castillo was my OB for my son's pregnancy, she did not deliver him because she was recovering from her own labor. She is one of the best OBs I have ever seen. She has great beside manner and will address your concerns. She took the time to make me feel more comfortable and assured during my 1st tri because of my recent miscarriage.

    She delivered DD and was absolutely awesome during the entire pregnancy and delivery.  She even came up to the hospital on a Saturday and her day off to see how I was recovering from surgery and to visit with DD.  She also came up on the following Monday before she went into work for the day.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about her.  She is so sweet and truly cares about you as a person.

    If it tells you anything about her as a doctor she called my hospital room the day I delivered C to see how things went. She was just a few rooms down recovering from her own delivery.

    She was my OB for my first two pregnancies, and like pp's stated she is wonderful.  I really appreciate how great of of Dr. she is now that I have had to switch.  She is nothing but great and you will love her.

    Thanks so much!  I made an appointment to see her Monday and begin this baby journey!
