TTC After a Loss

Sticky posts?

Not related to sticky babies!

This may be a stupid newbie question but that is sort of why I'm asking.

On other boards I've visited there is often a "sticky post" or two that always stay at the top of the board which outline the rules of the board and answer FAQ's.

It seems to me that this would avoid a lot of repetitive questions and new members offending the regulars. I remember seeing a link to an old post a while back which answered a bunch of common questions and I've lost it now.

I'm sure someone else has brought this up before and there is a good reason why there isn't one here but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

Re: Sticky posts?

  • We tried to do it, the Bump Gods ruled that what we (actually ShellShockedMama) came up with was too snarky. They're lameasses.
  • Loading the player...
  • I actually just LOL'd!

So your attempt at minimizing offence was too offensive? Too funny...

I would think they would prefer a "fair warning" post rather than individual snarks (is that a word?)

Oh well, you tried at least!

  • if you lurk and read back thru older posts you will most likely see that someone else has asked the same question that you have.  especially the ones about when can i TTC after a D&C, how long did it take to get your period after m/c or D&C, tons of charting questions...etc.  that is basic message board ettiquette.
