Met a famous mommy-blogger today

I was strolling through Target this morning. ?I threw my unwashed hair into a ponytail and, although I had washed my face, I still had mascara on from the previous night's date with my husband. ?I grabbed the few things I needed... ?cat food, a new sundress, a rug for the kitchen because Max loves to splash in his bath. ?

?I noticed a little girl-- she was wearing brightly colored striped tights and a tutu. ?I looked at her mommy and she was chic, beautiful and perfectly dressed. ?On her hip rested another little girl. ?She looked so familiar After a few seconds, I figured out from where. She has a blog that we have all read over and over. ?She wrote the birth story of her little girl, Nella, who was born with Downs Syndrome. ?In the back of my mind, I knew she lived in Naples. ?

I approached her and blurted out 'Do you have a blog?" ?It was, in fact, the writer of "Enjoying the Small Things", Kelle Hampton. ?I grabbed her and gave her a big hug. ?She was warm and friendly and meeting her totally made my day. ?(Ok, my week. ?I even rushed home to tell my husband.)?
