    I know a lot of people who have done this lately. Personally I do not like it at all. I like Jackson, but Jaxon is NMS. My dog's name is Jax, so maybe that is why.

    I like it.

    And I think the spelling looks good because it doesn't look like you're trying to make the name more difficult (which is what usually happens when people don't spell the name the traditional way).

    The x is to avoid Jack as a nickname and have him called Jax.

    If that's the case, then name him Jax.  I knew a guy in HS named Dax.  I won't call my girls anything else besides what I named them.  I'm not a fan of nicknames at all.

    Hmmmm...isn't Jax a brand of cheese doodles!! Might need to walk away from it!!  LOL good lord this baby needs a name!!!  FYI he is coming tomorrow at 5:30am!!!

    Jax is fine, but I'm not a huge fan of Jaxon.

    Thanks ladies...I'm off to sleep on it, and hopefully DH and I can decide when we meet the little guy in the morning...otherwise "baby boy LastName" he will be!!  Goodnight!!

    No to Jaxon. Name him Jackson and call him Jax as a nickname if you want.
