MsTie had a garage sale last weekend and had the same problem. I hate haggling...just buy the damn thing or leave me alone!

Ugh, totally!!  And unfortunately a lot of times there was a language barrier involved which made it harder for some of them to get that no means no- if it cost $30, is in almost-new shape and is marked for $4 I will NOT sell it to you for $2!  And don't pretend that's all the money you have and then later somehow find $5 extra to cover the full cost plus other stuff.  Arghhhhhh!

I too have a dog that needs a bath- she is extra stinky.

I care way too much that I think my MIL dislikes me and isn't interested in our baby.

I also shouldn't care that the person who replaced me at my last job is apparently talking shiit about me behind my back (and he doesn't even know me) but I do and it is super aggravating.

If DH hasn't cleaned the pet fountain by the next time I check I'm going to probably be a total biznatch about it.  Especially since "in exchange" I cleaned the litter boxes wearing a painter's mask and rubber gloves.  I am pregnant, why should I have to scoop?  I do it all the time otherwise.  Grr.

I have a hard time not telling people in Babies R Us that half the crap they are shopping for, scanning for a registry or is already loaded in their cart is nothing they need or is in fact just a crap product.

My confession is I _DO_ tell people they're crap or you don't need that or its a total waste of money or "you know, as a new mom, I suggest ____ product would be a better choice".

Not always but sometimes! LOL Especially when I see people picking out HORRID uncomfortable slings/carriers.

Eli is obsessed with my boobs and bras. He calls them my booms. today at Target we were walking throught the clothes and he saw the bra section. He ran over there started touching and rubbing the bras talking about mommies booms tothe guy restocking that department. I could have died, Think Eli is going to be a boobman when he gets older?

That's too funny!  This is my oldest nephew, too!  He's 4/almost 5 and he calls boobs "nursies" (probably b/c my sister EBF'd her 3 kids and calls it nursing).  My mom was just telling me a funny story.  My mom is large-chested like I am and my nephew was squishing on her boobs.  He told her her nursies are too big for someone with no baby!  haha  Apparently, he also runs to the bra section, when he sees it, and tells my sister which bras would look nice on nursies.  I was laughing so hard!

  • Oh, and one more.  I have *nothing* to add to the dirty talk thread and feel like I have the most tame, boring sex history/life in the world.  I kind of regret not being more adventurous while I still had the opportunity and now it's too late.

I don't think it's ever really too late but I'm in the same boat.

Dude.   If Toys in Babeland has taught me anything, it's "No.  No it's not too late."

  • My kid is almost 16 months old and she has never spent the night away from us.  She still doesn't sleep through the night.  She still nurses 3+ times a day (not because I still want to be nursing, but because I can't say no to DD when she is begging for it).  I still sleep in the guest bedroom because it is closer to the nursery.  She is all I talk about when I'm out with friends.

I have totally become that mom that I swore I would never be.

  • 1. I didn't read the poll/awards thing because I don't like those things for the reasons already posted.

    2. I am terrible with names and remembering real life names with bump names so I would have had a hard time with an award response anyway.

    3. I have eleven games of Scrabble going right now on FB. At least half of them are with my dad.

    4. I yell too much at Ben and I feel bad for expecting him to do some things when I remember that he is only three years old.

    5. I am super annoyed at DH because he always has "one quick thing" to do that ends up taking half an hour and/or messes up our computer network so that I can't even watch TV while I wait for him to finish whatever stupid "important" thing he was doing. And it is going on right now in fact and I'm getting more pissed. Leave the TV alone.
