he sat up without the boppy!

My big boy!!! DH put him in the high chair and instead of leaning against the back the whole time he sat right up straight and leaned forward. So I said let's see something. I took him out and sat him on the floor and he just propped himself right up! He did fall after a few seconds, but he's getting there. (I did cry though when I tried to catch him and somehow missed him and he hit his head on the floor :( ) He's okay though...no worries!

    Yay Nicholas!  DD has bopped her head on the floor several times since she began sitting up on her own, and it always freaks me out.  I do try to surround her with pillows so she'll hit something soft, but I kind of figure she needs to have the experience of falling to become motivated to stay sitting up.

    I just felt so bad...the floor is hard! I thought "oh I don't need to put down a blanket I'm right here I'll catch him". yeah, not so much...lesson learned!
