3rd Trimester

Really?

This is not pregnancy related, but I was just online checking in for my flight to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow and they charge $25 to check one bag...ugh! Didn't I already pay enough for the ticket? Oh but if I pay online to check it, then it's only $23! So I'm paying $50 total just to bring luggage? What a ripoff!

Re: Really?

  • Yup really....my family just flew last month and we managed to fit everything into 2 bags...so we still ended up paying $100 return for our luggage.  I would have liked to have had more stuff with us but I just can't justify paying that much for a bag.

Haha I'm sure in another year or 2 they will come up with a charge for that, lol!

Shhhh, don't give them any ideas!

P.S. I ADORE Cape Cod. Particularly Orleans. Smile This is the first summer we won't be heading there for vacation due to little one's birth. Sigh.

  • Some carriers (Continental I know) charge you a bit less if you pay in advance online.  Spirit Air charges for carry on bags too!

Haha!  We love the Cape too!  I don't get to Orleans that often, since we live in the Falmouth/Woods Hole area but hoping to venture out that way this summer with LO.  When you come next summer let me know and we can have a play date!  :)
