Does your LO look like what you thought they would?

My DD does not look like what I was expecting. My DH and I are both dark brown hair and dark brown eyes so we figured that DD would follow with those traits. Turns out, she has blonde hair and green eyes 
She looks a lot like my DH but I was expecting a baby with dark features. Obviously her hair can change color as she gets older but people always make comments like "Where did she come from?". Does your LO look like what you were expecting them to look like?

I knew he would be a daddy mini-me and he totally is, right down to the faces he makes.
I didn't, however, expect him to be THIS cute. I knew he would be cute, but not this cute.
Nope. I never expected blue eyed babiez.
My husband doesn't have strong features...meaning, no one in his family looks like him and he doesn't look like any of them! We always joke that he was adopted! So I was pretty surpised when she came out looking just like him! HA!
We were Team Green and I thought if we had a girl she would look like me and a boy would look like DH. Original, huh?
J actually looks a lot more like me than DH. People comment on it all the time.

No. DH and I both have brown hair and brown eyes. DS has blonde hair and blue eyes.
However, there are facial features that I can see in him that come from DH and I. When he was a baby he looked just like me, but now that he is getting older he is looking more like DH when he was that age.
No.. We thought he would have a lot of dark hair and darker skin. He's pale as can be and has strawberrish blonde hair. His cheeks are big like we expected and that's about the extent of it
I don't know where in the gene pool she pulled those blue eyes from. We were not expecting that! The red hair is random too. Besides her lips and nose she is all daddy though.
Not really - his facial features look like a combo of us, but he has red hair(!) and we both have light brown. And he has blue eyes while mine are brown and DH's are greenish-gray.
Plus, he's way cuter than I ever could have imagined.
Sort of. He is a dead ringer for me as a baby, I mean, truly identical apart from what a diaper hides. So, when he came out a spitting image of me, it wasn't weird, but it wasn't exactly what we had assumed he'd be because ... EVERY male on DH's side looks alike. I mean, same bone structure, hair color, etc. You can always tell their family members at weddings and such because they look so. much. alike. So we were both expecting B to take after DH quite a lot. Only as he's getting older can you even see a tiny bit of DH in him, and usually only when he makes certain faces or is in a certain light.
That being said, he looks like what I hoped he'd look like. Not so much that he looks like me, just that he doesn't only look like DH. I love his abundance of hair, big eyes, dimples, etc. which he wouldn't have if not for my genes.

nope. We had no idea that she would have red hair or did we even think about her hair being red. we thought that she would look like me because she did in her 4d u/s.. She is allll her daddy but so BEAUTIFUL!!
OH and she has blue eyes. I have brown and DH hazel.
