I am so sorry! I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. My dad went bonkers and started cheating on my mom and she even found out later that he was addicted to drugs. He was in his mid-50s.

I felt so bad for my mom. My dad took up with his new life and never spoke to me and I was pregnant with DD at the time. He passed away last year and it still breaks my heart that he did that to himself and lost valuable time with me and my mom. He never even got to meet his granddaughter.

I'm so sorry heather:( Your parents getting a divorce at any age sucks! My biological parents got divorced when I was 2 and I'm almost thankful I don't remember any of it. Guess ignorance is bliss:P Then when my dad and stepmom got divorced when I was 16 that sucked even more. I can't even imagine if it had been after 44 years of marriage. I'm so sorry:(
