They are much better than the TV show (although I enjoy that as well). Can't wait for the new book to come out on May 4th (the day before my 1st appt, Yay!)

I have a Kindle too. It's just not that they aren't releasing it the same day, they aren't releasing it for Kindle AT ALL right now. Penguin Publishing (who publishes Charlaine Harris) entered into a new deal with Apple for the iPad and won't let Amazon sell anything published after 4/1 on the Kindle right now. I found this out because a book I wanted by Jim Butcher a few weeks ago wasn't available either. I hope they get their heads on straight soon because they are going to make a bunch of Kindle readers unhappy.

WTF. I am pissed off. Three of the four books I preordered have been canceled....I am beyond mad right now. Guess I am going to heve to read the paper version(rolls eyes)

Yes! Granted, I'm still way behind on the shows - I'm catching up on Season 1 right now. I've finished all the books though! It's driving me crazy how slow the show is going, especially considering I read all the available books in about 2 weeks!

I love True Blood-- What can I say, I'm a North Louisiana girl! lol... we are about to move, and DH knows that I have to have HBO before the 3rd Season stars. I confess I'm addicted, and I love how the books are pretty much all together different than the show.
