I have been BFing my DD since she was born. She eats about every 3.5 hours. For the past few weeks, she has been getting more fussy but I attributed it to the 4 mo. wakeful. Well, after her early afternoon feeding today, she kept fussing (like usual) and so I decided to try giving her a 4 oz. bottle. She DRAINED it quick. After BFing and the bottle she seems happy.
I'm assuming she is still hungry after BFing, but here's the thing...I still have milk. I know this because I can squeeze it out myself after she's done! What is going on? Is she not sucking correctly? Is my supply low for some reason?
Anyone else dealt with this??
Re: Fussiness after feeding--is my supply low?
It probably doesn't mean anything about your supply. It's probably some other thing that's bothering her, and having an effortless flow of milk available was pacifying to her.
Keep up the good work bfing!
