Bleeding 7 DPO?

I am new to charting (just came off BCP) so I am not sure what to expect from my body. I had a couple days of brown spotting, which I understood to be normal. But last night, that spotting turned to red blood flow (I would classify it as "light" if it were part of period). I did some searching online and I couldn't really find a whole lot of info other than "see your doctor." What could be causing this?

Your body will take awhile to adjust to coming of BCP. I think this would be considered normal. If it's red flow, I would consider that the start of AF. Try charting to better understand your body. GL!

It could be that your "natural" cycles do include spotting, but you won't know that for awhile. Good luck!

Sound like your first LP off the pill was a short one. Today needs to be marked as light flow and then FF will switch your chart to CD1.

I doubt you need to see your doctor just yet. It's great that you are charting though. Your cycles just off the pill can be wonky. A short post pill LP is not rare, it takes some time for your body to produce the hormones in the correct amounts to regulate a cycle.

Your O could have been 1 day earlier. Making you 9dpo today... and possibly getting your period.

This happened to me last cycle (first cycle of BCP). It was my period.. but really light. It sucked and I obsessed over it coming so early. But now there is nothing to do but what and see if this cycle is better. Good luck.
