Sperm and Alcohol

Hello!  I know alcohol can reduce the sperm count, but I'm wondering how much has to be drank and how often.  My DH doesn't really drink a lot but we have our IUI scheduled for May 8th or 10th.  He has friends coming in from out of town this weekend, and has a bachelor party to go to next weekend, so he'll be drinking May 1st and 8th.  So, I'm wondering if his drinking those two days will affect his sperm count?  Or is the sperm count affected when the man drinks consistently?

    My DH drinks quite often (partly due to the nature of his job and partly because he hangs out with a group of guys that like to drink a lot of beer while watching sports). His count is really high so I'm not sure if it really makes a difference.

    Unless he plans on getting totally wasted I don't think it should hurt.
