what exactly is the consistancy...

of your "water"...when your water breaks is it actually like water? or is it a little thick? is it clear? colored? tinted? odor?

it would be nice to know what to look for if i sprung a leak..

ive been having an increase in discharge lately so it would be wise of me to know what to look for....

    Not sure if it is thick but it can be colored or tinted, depending if baby has pooped.  I think there might even be an odor but not sure.

    This has been happening to me too.  I keep a panty liner in just in case.  Sometimes I don't know if I'm sweating down there or what.

    It's water that keeps on coming. If you pee yourself it's a short burst (well, most of the time LOL). If you keep 'leaking' or you lay down and a gush comes out when you stand up, it's probably your water.

    Mine with DD was clear, it smelled a bit like salt water almost. With DS it had meconium and you could DEFINITELY tell, it was gross.
