Did changing the way eat, help lower your bp. I seen the peri yesterday and she said I had 360 protein in my urine and with the high blood pressure, she thinks I have pre eclampsia, but she wants me to do another urine collection and then will give the official diagnosis. The good thing is, its very mild right now, she was concerned because I am not even in my 3rd trimester yet. But for now she pulled me from work til my next appointment and she told me to cut out boxed, processed, or any packaged food and to cut sodium to 1500 mg a day! I hope by eating better it will lower my bp. Its been about 150/90 ish, so not too high but not low either.

I have been on a low sodium diet for quite some time. Just use fresh ingredients and avoid packaged products when cooking. Use dry beans instead of canned. If you do use canned veggies or beans make sure you rinse them before use. Some grocery stores also offer a list of low sodium food they carry. It never hurts to ask.
Good luck!
