Bah, my child is practically a toddler. I know, I know...I'm jumping the gun a little. But damnit, slow DOWN!
We lowered her crib mattress this weekend, and I cried. Day care called yesterday about moving her up to the next age group room. I cried. I put her in a pair of 18-24m pants this morning. I cried (a little).
Waaaaaaah!
I guess I should be excited and happy, but she's been so moody and cranky lately that I'd rather have my smiley 5-month-old back.
Re: Ten months :(
You're right. Ella is doing new amazing things every day.
This is somewhat unrelated, but still related (huh?)...but I actually think I may have mild PPD. I'm having a really hard time finding joy in those new things Ella is doing and learning. I'm having a hard time finding joy in anything, actually. I'm considering calling my OB because it's been about a month now and I can't shake it.
Hmmm, I smell a separate post coming...
In that pic she looks a little concerned about growng up so fast too
I'm with you on the slow-the-eff-down! thing. Maya is 30 days behind Ella and I swer she should only be a few months old. Not 9!
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. If you're really concerned, give your OB a call. If nothing else it will be fun to catch up, so to speak. i still kinda miss my OB.
I miss my OB, too
It's amazing how fast they grow and learn! I love the crawling stage!
I'm not trying to diagnose you, but based on what you wrote though, it may seem that you could be struggling with some degree of PPD. I hope your doctor can help if you decide you should call!
Happy 10 months Ella!
I'm right there with you about the crying. T minus 9 days and Tyson will be a toddler.
